How Do You Receive Your Guidance?



This question comes up a lot when people are first working with me (as a client) or as a student. I explain that everyone "sees" differently and guidance comes to us through many different venues.



Sometimes, I will be asking help on a problem or an answer to a question and the a song comes on the radio that answers it. Sometimes, I just hear the answer in my mind or feel the answer in my body. The first step I tell clients is intention. The intention to want to receive the information. Information that is being sent to us every minute of every day.



Try the tips below to enable you to hear guidance more clearly:

STOP TALKING -- Stop and just listen to the hum of the universe.

LOOK -- Be aware of what is around you; a message of guidance can be seen anywhere. For example, you might be thinking of a problem and driving and a truck passes and it has a word on it that is the answer!

LISTEN -- Before you make a decision, ask if there is anything you need to know before you make the decision. Wait and you will hear a YES or NO. If you get a YES, don't worry the additional information will soon follow.

How To Attract Success with Ease

If you want more money, better relationships, happiness, etc. My suggestions is stop focusing on trying to attract more money, or the perfect mate and focus on the one thing that all of these "wants" have in common.



YOU WANT TO BE SUCCESSFUL. That's successful all around. Not just in one area. I have a tree outside my office window, where I watch daily as a squirrel will hang upside by his hind legs and successful gather nuts...he really only has one goal in mind to successfully get through the winter and so each day everything he does and thinks about fulfills this one goal.



Let me tell you he is getting fatter by the day! So be the Squirrel and start to gather your nuts!

Below are some tips to help you along the way:

1. Write down your ultimate statement. I AM SUCCESSFUL

2. Take one thing currently that you believe is stopping you from "feeling" successful on a piece of paper

3. Now, write the opposite of that statement on another piece of paper (I have financial success). We will call this your new belief.

4. Tear up in tiny little pieces the first statement (the thing that you "believe" is stopping you form being your ultimate statement).

5. Read your ultimate statement everyday and read your new belief everyday.

6. Gratefully receive and accept your success!

How I Make Money By Not Working

Are You:
- Working All The Time and Just Making Your Bills

I was just like YOU! I was under the impression that work had to be: hard, a struggle, "work," and of course time consuming. I was wrong. I found that using my intuition allowed me to stop struggling and start being a success!

Take the Day Off -- I have my best moments of inspiration when I'm doing something totally different then sitting at my computer waiting for brilliance. Taking the day off will allow your creative juices to start flowing again and give you the space to work on a problem without focusing on it.

Thinking About Tommorrow

Where are you spending your time?

  1. Be the Moment -- Just observe where your mind is and bring it gently back to THIS moment.
  2. Slow Down -- Start with one hour of not multi tasking. Take one item on your "to do" list and write it on a piece of paper; then do that item. Then repeat the process.
  3. Pass on the Past -- Write down one thing from your past that you wish you could have done differently. Now, write down all that you learned from that experience and how you have helped someone else with this information. See, how you could not have passed on the past without that experience?

Being Fearless

I remember when I was in college Sasha Waters said that what she wanted in life was to be FEARLESS. I admired Sasha Water's statement and it seemed like a really good idea. I still admire it and it is something I am doing in my life.

Being FEARLESS to me is being without limits. Irrational fear (this isn't the kind of fear you feel when you are driving on a rainy night and your car skids) is a detour of the highway to what you desire. So I look at each FEAR that comes up and say, what is it asking me to change and do differently. Below are three steps to working your way to being fearless:

This is not about controlling the fear factor, it is about guiding your thoughts away from the fear factor. When the fear moment hits:
  • PAUSE and breathe - If you don't breathe your body is experiencing unnecessary stress
  • State: I AM SAFE. Imagine how safety feels like.
  • Ask yourself one thing that this FEAR was asking you to see differently?
